Small changes can grow into bigger changes.

Starting new things or making changes can feel really scary. Our brain is warning us of adversity or difficulties, using our past memories, just to keep us safe. Remember though that nothing will change if we do nothing. Our comfort zone only increases when we step outside of it. Even the tiny steps add up. When I was going through a difficult time in my life, I had my own counselling. I remember my counsellor saying to me, "Sue, you can't eat an elephant in one go, little bit by little bit works best!" Now I obviously don't suggest eating an elephant, but hopefully you get the idea.
